The concept is simple: The Astros' players team up with Saving Animals and pose for photos with either their own animals or homeless dogs and cats from HCPHES (the Harris County animal shelter). Photos are taken by famed Houston photographer Evin Thayer (who donates all time and materials) and Active Imagination designs a stunning calendar.
